3.4.2 Installing fire extinguishers
The boat has two dedicated places for the fire extinguishers.
- One in the seat box, on the bow deck
- One in the seat box, on the aft deck
All measurements are in
millimeters.
To install the fire extinguishers, you need the following
materials:- Suitable fire extinguisher bracket (2)
- Max 16 mm (5/8”) long self-tapping screws
- Marine grade silicone sealant
Installing the bow deck fire extinguisher
- Locate the seat box wall closest to the console.
- Drill pilot holes for the bracket screws to avoid cracking the wall surface.
- Attach the bracket to the wall by using self-tapping screws. Use silicone to seal the screw holes.
- Attach the extinguisher to the bracket and ensure it stays firmly in place and easily accessible.

Installing the aft deck fire extinguisher
- Locate the higher surface on the boat centerline side of the seat box floor. Position the extinguisher on the edge of the higher part.
- Drill pilot holes for the bracket screws to avoid cracking the surface. Be careful not to drill too deep.
- Attach the bracket to the wall by using self-tapping screws. Use silicone to seal the screw holes.
- Attach the extinguisher to the bracket and ensure it stays firmly in place and easily accessible.
