3.4.2 Installing fire extinguishers

The boat has two dedicated places for the fire extinguishers.
  • One in the seat box, on the bow deck
  • One in the seat box, on the aft deck
These places are marked with fire extinguisher symbols. For the locations of the symbols see section Safety labels.
All measurements are in millimeters.
To install the fire extinguishers, you need the following materials:
  • Suitable fire extinguisher bracket (2)
  • Max 16 mm (5/8”) long self-tapping screws
  • Marine grade silicone sealant

Installing the bow deck fire extinguisher

  1. Locate the seat box wall closest to the console.
  2. Drill pilot holes for the bracket screws to avoid cracking the wall surface.
  3. Attach the bracket to the wall by using self-tapping screws. Use silicone to seal the screw holes.
  4. Attach the extinguisher to the bracket and ensure it stays firmly in place and easily accessible.
