6.2.8 Using windshield wiper and washer

Your boat is equipped with a windshield wiper and washer. The wiper has a three-speed control to accommodate different weather conditions.

Risk of material damage.

To avoid possible damage by freezing, empty the washer system before winter lay-up.

Only use clean water or mild washing fluid suitable for windshield in the washer system.
  • Turn on the wiper by pressing the windshield wiper switch at the helm station.
  • To increase the wiper speed, press the windshield wiper speed switch.
  • When the wiper reaches the third speed (fastest), press the switch once more to return it to the first speed (slowest).
  • To activate the windshield washer, press and hold the windshield wiper speed switch for three (3) seconds.
    The washer pump sprays fluid onto the windshield for as long as you hold down the switch.
